Fine & Country Algarve has been appointed exclusive sales agent for The Uncommon Beach Residences, a new 92-home development in Vilamoura.
The agency will market the scheme to Portuguese and international purchasers, with British buyers projected to represent the largest overseas group.
UK purchasers are expected to account for approximately 22% of international sales, followed by German buyers at 14%. Portuguese purchasers are forecast to represent around 11% of total transactions.
Developed by Vilamoura World, The Uncommon occupies one of the remaining sites offering direct beachfront living within the Algarve resort.
SCARCE DEVELOPMENT
The development is being promoted as potentially the last true beachfront resort scheme to be built in the Algarve because of the limited supply of undeveloped coastal land and increasingly stringent planning restrictions.
It will comprise 92 contemporary apartments alongside outdoor swimming pools, concierge services, housekeeping, maintenance and private parking.

Owners will be able to use their apartment as a permanent home or holiday residence, or enter it into a professionally managed rental programme when it is not occupied.
The scheme forms part of a wider investment programme in Vilamoura being delivered by Vilamoura World, which is part of Arrow Global’s investment platform.
Work across the destination includes improvements to its marina, golf and leisure facilities, equestrian infrastructure and public areas.
BRITISH DEMAND
Jorge Pereira (main picture, inset), Director of Operations at Fine & Country Algarve, says: “Opportunities to buy genuinely beachfront property on the Algarve are becoming exceptionally rare.
“Sites like this simply don’t come to market anymore, which makes The Uncommon one of the most significant residential launches we’ve seen in the region for many years.
“We expect particularly strong interest from British buyers, who continue to view the Algarve as one of Europe’s most desirable destinations for second homes, retirement and lifestyle investment.”
Pereira said the scheme’s beachfront position, flexible ownership model and continuing investment in Vilamoura would support demand.
The Algarve remains an established destination for British purchasers because of its climate, transport connections and large international community.
However, buyers considering rental income will need to account for Portuguese taxation, licensing and local letting rules alongside service charges and property-management costs.
