Six runners from the Fine & Country network and its supporters have raised £2,261.80 for homelessness and community charities after completing the Royal Parks Half Marathon.
The team completed the 13.1-mile course through Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens on Sunday 11 October.
Running for The Fine & Country Foundation were Fine & Country Chief Marketing Officer and Foundation Trustee Emilie Despois (main picture, left), Tom Carter (main picture, right) of Fine & Country North Wales, and supporters William Grain, Baz Stevens, Jack Houghton and Lee Townson.
Money raised will contribute towards the Foundation’s grant programme, which provides grants of up to £3,000 to local charities and community organisations nominated through the Fine & Country network.
£1M RAISED
Established in 2014 as the charitable arm of Fine & Country, the Foundation has raised and donated more than £1m to organisations supporting people experiencing homelessness and communities facing hardship in the UK and internationally.
Despois says: “Taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon was a fantastic opportunity to raise both funds and awareness for The Foundation’s work.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us, whether by donating, encouraging us during training or cheering us on along the way. Raising £2,261.80 is a brilliant result, and knowing that these funds will help support organisations making a real difference to people’s lives makes every mile worthwhile.
As a Trustee, it is especially rewarding to see how collective efforts like this can translate into meaningful support for communities that need it most.”
