Chestertons promotes Chrysanthou to Central London lettings role

Chestertons has promoted Andrew Chrysanthou to Regional Director of Central London Lettings after more than nine years with the agency.

Chrysanthou (main picture) will work with lettings teams across Central London, supporting landlords and helping to develop the agency’s business across the region.
He has more than 15 years’ experience in lettings after beginning his property career as a lettings negotiator in 2009.

Before joining Chestertons, Chrysanthou held branch management roles at Cluttons and Barnard Marcus, working across Clapham, Fulham and Earl’s Court.

RENTAL ACTIVITY

The promotion comes as Chestertons reports increased activity across its lettings business following the introduction of the Renters’ Rights Act on 1 May.

The agency says tenant enquiries through property portals have increased 14% since the reforms came into force, while move-ins have risen 3%.

Chrysanthou says: “After nine years with Chestertons, I’m delighted to take on this wider role. Central London is a varied market, and landlords and tenants value clear advice from people who know their neighbourhoods.

“With tenant demand and move-ins increasing, I’m looking forward to working with our teams across the region and helping them build on their local expertise.”
