BNP Paribas Real Estate names new European Advisory chief

BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Marcus Zorn as Chief Executive Officer of its Advisory business across Europe as part of a shake-up of its senior leadership.

Zorn (main picture) takes up the European role with immediate effect and will continue as Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany and a member of the group’s Executive Board.
The changes come ahead of the retirement of Laurent Boucher, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate with responsibility for Advisory in Europe and Chief Executive Officer of Advisory France.

Boucher will retire on 31 December after a career of nearly 40 years with the company, remaining in his French leadership and Executive Board roles until then to support the transition.

EUROPEAN GROWTH

Zorn joined BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany in 1995 and has held senior roles spanning office, investment, industrial and retail property.

He became Head of Transactions in 2010, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the German business in 2012 and Chief Executive Officer in 2021.

Zorn says: “The quality of our teams and the breadth of our expertise across Europe give us unique strengths in supporting our clients. I am honoured to build on the work undertaken in recent years.

“My priority will be to further strengthen synergies between our countries and give clients ever more seamless access to BNP Paribas Real Estate’s best expertise, helping to enhance the performance of their projects.”
