Estate agency branches using Street.co.uk are handling an average of two more property sales per month than the wider market according to analysis from the agency software provider.
Street.co.uk says branches using its platform average 4.7 sales per month across the major British cities analysed, compared with its estimated wider-market average of 2.7.
The figures are based on transactional activity among Street.co.uk agents, with the company comparing this against estimated residential sales volumes and numbers of estate agency branches in individual cities over the past 12 months.
Glasgow records the highest activity among Street.co.uk users, with branches handling an average 17.3 sales per month compared with an estimated 5.4 across the city’s wider agency market.
CITY PERFORMANCE
Liverpool ranks second among Street.co.uk branches at 10.3 sales per month, against a wider-market estimate of 3.3.
Nottingham follows at 9.9 compared with an estimated city average of 2.4, while Street.co.uk agents in Manchester average 9.2 sales each month.
Edinburgh and Southampton both record eight sales per Street.co.uk branch, followed by Sheffield at 7.4, Portsmouth at 6.4 and Newcastle at 5.3.
Birmingham completes the top 10 at 4.5 sales per month.
AGENT PRODUCTIVITY
Heather Staff, (main picture, inset) Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Street Group, says: “Our own data shows that Street.co.uk branches are handling higher transaction volumes than their competitors, with particularly strong levels of activity across some of Britain’s major cities.
“Across the cities we’ve analysed, Street.co.uk branches are handling an average of 4.7 sales per month, compared to 2.7 across the wider market.”
Street.co.uk previously found that vendors instructing agents using its platform were 23% more likely to see their property reach sold subject to contract status.
Staff adds: “While technology alone doesn’t make a successful estate agency, having the right infrastructure in place can make an enormous difference to how effectively agents are able to manage and progress the opportunities available to them.”
