Lomond has acquired the residential lettings and property management business of Nottingham agency FHP Living as it continues to expand its Midlands operation.
The acquired business, which operates across Nottingham and West Bridgford and includes a growing student lettings operation, will become part of Lomond’s John Shepherd brand.
FHP Living’s residential sales and development consultancy is not included in the deal and will continue operating from its West Bridgford office under the leadership of Jules Hunt and Jason Cook.
FHP Living was founded in 2000 by David Hargreaves, John Proctor and Brian Fisher and initially operated as a residential development advisory business before expanding into sales, lettings and property management.
MIDLANDS EXPANSION
The acquisition expands John Shepherd’s existing sales and lettings operation across the East Midlands, with Nottingham identified as a key market for Lomond.

Paul Clarke, Chief Revenue Officer at Lomond, says: “FHP Living represents exactly the kind of business we seek to bring on board – business-minded, locally trusted and client-focused.
“Their ability to offer a wide range of property services in the Nottingham area, backed by strong client and staff loyalty, is a testament to the strength of their model.
“By combining their local expertise with the scale of John Shepherd and the wider Group, we’re creating a business that’s better equipped to support landlords through the sector’s ongoing regulatory evolution.”
LETTINGS CONSOLIDATION
Luke Pritchett, Director of FHP Living, will remain with the lettings business following the acquisition.
He says: “For our clients, this is about building on what’s already working. With John Shepherd and Lomond behind us, we have more tools, more expertise, and more support to draw on – which means landlords will get an even stronger service as the market keeps changing.”
David Hargreaves, Founding Director of FHP Living, adds: “For more than 20 years, our focus has been on building meaningful relationships and delivering a service our clients can rely on.
“Joining John Shepherd and Lomond gives those clients and our team access to the resources and opportunities of a larger group, while keeping the local presence and trust we’ve built over two decades.”
