Zoopla launches series to help agents convert more valuations

Zoopla has launched a new free training programme designed to help estate agents convert more valuation leads into instructions after a 32% year-on-year increase in seller enquiries generated through its platform.

The new Masterclass video series is available to Zoopla customers through ZooplaPro and forms part of the portal’s wider strategy to help agents improve conversion rates and grow revenue in an increasingly competitive market.
Hosted by estate agency consultant Ian Preston, the first six-part series, Win More Leads: Become a Conversion Master, focuses on practical techniques to help agents secure more instructions from valuation appointments.

Topics include why agents lose listings, how to tailor valuation presentations to different seller types, effective follow-up strategies and proven scripts for booking and conducting valuation appointments.

GUIDANCE AND REASSURANCE

Zoopla says the initiative is aimed particularly at small and independent agencies, helping them make better use of growing seller demand at a time when homeowners are seeking greater guidance and reassurance throughout the sales process.

A second series, Flexible Fees to the Revenue Rescue, will launch on 9 June and will focus on alternative fee models, covering how agents can introduce flexible pricing structures, overcome seller objections and increase revenue opportunities.

The move comes as competition for instructions remains intense across many local markets, despite a rise in seller activity and valuation enquiries.

Rich Hayes, Chief Operating Officer at Zoopla, says: “Agents are getting more valuation leads from Zoopla than ever, up 32% year on year. But leads only create value when they convert.

“As a true partner to agents, we built Masterclass to give our agents the practical tools to win more instructions and grow their revenue. Ian Preston is one of the best in the business at this, and we’re bringing his expertise exclusively to Zoopla customers.”

Zoopla customers can access the full series through ZooplaPro, while agents using Zoopla for Business can view the first episode and a companion podcast featuring highlights from the programme.

The launch reflects a growing focus across the industry on improving lead conversion and profitability, rather than simply generating higher volumes of enquiries.
