International students and overseas renters could find it easier to secure accommodation in the UK following a new partnership between flatfair and student housing specialist Flaties.
The agreement will see Flaties offer flatfair’s No Deposit and Tenant Guarantor products to its customers, helping address two of the biggest challenges faced by international renters – finding a UK-based guarantor and covering the cost of a traditional tenancy deposit.
The move comes as demand for flexible rental solutions continues to grow, particularly among students and professionals relocating to the UK who often have limited UK credit history and face significant upfront moving costs.
Under the partnership, flatfair’s No Deposit product allows tenants to move into a property without paying a cash deposit, while its Tenant Guarantor solution provides support for renters unable to meet standard guarantor requirements.
SUPPORTING STUDENTS
Aaron Lawrence (main picture), Head of Sales at flatfair, says: “At flatfair, we’re focused on removing the financial and administrative barriers that make renting harder than it should be. Partnering with Flaties allows us to support even more students and renters through our No Deposit and Tenant Guarantor solutions, creating a simpler and more flexible renting experience.”
Flaties specialises in student accommodation, temporary housing and long-term rentals, supporting international students throughout the relocation process.
BETTER EXPERIENCE
Qutaiba Alenezi, Director at Flaties, adds: “We’re thrilled to officially partner with flatfair. Our residents are going to love what we have in store together. This partnership is all about delivering a better experience for tenants and helping make renting more accessible and stress-free.”
The companies say the partnership reflects a wider trend across the private rented sector towards reducing friction at move-in and improving access to housing for tenants who may struggle to meet traditional affordability and referencing requirements.
By combining accommodation support with deposit and guarantor alternatives, the firms believe they can provide a smoother rental journey for students, young professionals and other renters moving to the UK.
