Weston Homes has launched a £12.9m boutique development within a restored Grade II listed landmark at the heart of the Wellesley Estate in Aldershot.
The scheme, known as The Head Quarters, delivers 34 homes across a mix of converted apartments and houses, with prices starting from £270,000.
The development forms part of the wider regeneration of the Wellesley Estate and centres on a historic red-brick building originally constructed in 1895 as part of the transformation of Aldershot Camp into Britain’s first purpose-built military town.
The restored building provides 24 apartments, alongside four additional homes in a former Post Office and six houses within the historic Military Police Barracks.
MODERN LIVING
Original features including high ceilings and period façades have been retained, with the scheme designed to blend heritage architecture with modern living.
The launch builds on Weston Homes’ track record in the area, following the regeneration of the nearby Cambridge Military Hospital at Gun Hill Park, where all homes have now been sold.

The scheme also includes landscaped communal areas, new green space and improved connectivity, with pedestrian access to surrounding woodland and Aldershot town centre.
Aldershot station, around 1.1 miles away, offers direct services to London Waterloo in under an hour, positioning the development for commuter demand.
RARE OPPORTUNITY

Suzanne Aplin, Group Sales & Marketing Director at Weston Homes, says: “We are thrilled to launch The Head Quarters, a truly exceptional development that celebrates Aldershot’s rich military heritage while delivering the very best in contemporary design and specification.
“Having successfully restored nearby Gun Hill Park into a thriving community, we are proud to continue that legacy here, bringing new life to another of the town’s most significant historic buildings.
“With its unique architecture, landscaped setting and unrivalled specification, The Head Quarters offers buyers a rare opportunity to own a landmark home designed for modern living.”
The developer says the scheme reflects its continued focus on heritage-led regeneration, with sustainability features and modern specifications incorporated across all homes.
