Prime London’s biggest property deals honoured at LonRes Awards

Some of London’s largest residential transactions of the past year have been recognised at the 2026 LonRes Awards, highlighting continued activity at the top end of the capital’s property market despite wider economic uncertainty.

Presented during the LonRes Summer Party in Belgrave Square, the awards celebrate the highest-value sales and lettings recorded on the LonRes platform between June 2025 and May 2026. This year’s awards also introduced dedicated categories for mortgage brokers and buying agents for the first time.
Sotheby’s International Realty secured the Central London Sale of the Year after completing the sale of a Chelsea property marketed at £275 million, while Savills collected multiple honours.

The firm’s St John’s Wood office won North London Sale of the Year for a £40 million transaction, its Barnes office secured South London Sale of the Year for an £11 million sale, and its Sloane Street office shared West London Sale of the Year with Farrar & Co for the sale of a Bayswater property guided at £60 million.

OUTSIDE THE CAPITAL

Hutton Bubear received the Country Sale of the Year award for completing the sale of a Hampshire property marketed at £15 million.

In the lettings categories, Savills’ Sloane Street office won Central London Let of the Year after securing a Knightsbridge tenancy worth £32,500 per week.

LonRes

Aston Chase collected the North London award for a letting on The Bishop’s Avenue at £24,000 per week, while Chestertons won both the South and West London categories for properties in Wandsworth and jointly with Mountgrange Heritage for the let of a property in Holland Park for £20,000 pw/£86,667 pm.

The awards also recognised leading intermediaries operating within London’s prime market. Benji Weinberger of DDRE Global was named Broker of the Year by transaction value, while David McGuinness of Moveli collected the volume award and Natalie Malka, also of Moveli, completed the firm’s success by securing the Largest Single Transaction accolade. Tom Kain of Black Brick was named Buying Agent of the Year.
