Martin & Co Huddersfield buys ADM Residential

Martin & Co Huddersfield has acquired independent estate and lettings agency ADM Residential as the franchise targets further expansion in the local market.

The deal is the fourth acquisition completed by Franchise Owner Will Taylor (main picture, left) and will see ADM Residential’s portfolio integrated into the existing Martin & Co operation.
Taylor has operated the Huddersfield franchise since 2009, when he started the business with one other member of staff. The combined operation now has a team of 12 covering residential sales and lettings.

Martin & Co says the acquisition will bring together the agencies’ existing property portfolios, expertise and local connections.

FURTHER GROWTH

Taylor says: “We are always considering acquisitions and when I met with ADM and they spoke to me about it, I was super excited.

“Located in a great area of Huddersfield, I thought the portfolio would merge into our existing stock with ease.”

Operations Manager Lisa Hollings (main picture, right) will play a central role in integrating the acquired business, having previously worked on Martin & Co Huddersfield’s other acquisitions.

Hollings says the priority is to ensure a smooth transition for ADM Residential’s landlords, vendors and tenants while maintaining service levels.

ACQUISITION APPETITE

The deal forms part of Taylor’s longer-term plans to expand Martin & Co’s presence across Huddersfield.

“We aim to keep growing, keep caring and be on hand for anyone who needs us,” he says.
