Fine & Country has expanded its network across Greater Manchester and Cheshire with the launch of a new licence covering Stockport and Saddleworth, headed by experienced property professional James Diggins (main picture).
The move marks Fine & Country’s latest growth in the North West and comes as Diggins celebrates ten years of running his own estate agency business.
Diggins, who entered the property industry in 2001, will lead the new operation, bringing Fine & Country’s premium property offering to two of Greater Manchester’s most sought-after markets.
The launch comes as Diggins looks to build a stronger presence in the premium sector, supported by an in-house sales progression team and a marketing strategy that includes professional photography, presenter-led videos, drone footage and social media content.
CLIENT-FIRST
Diggins says: “It has been my intention for many years. I particularly feel aligned to the way in which Fine & Country represents itself as I’m a client-first kind of person and know that the reputation the brand has built over the last 25 years is that of excellence.”
He added: “Having already met many other licensees at the Conference, Awards Ceremony, and the Academy Day, it’s nice to collaborate with other like-minded individuals who have the same goals.”
Discussing the timing of the move, he added: “I have a driven and dedicated team focusing on business growth and development. I feel now is the right time to grow in the upper quartile property arena and build a premium brand business from within.”
GROWTH PLANS
Diggins believes the region is well positioned for growth, citing its combination of countryside living and connectivity to Manchester.
“Being close to Manchester, with its commuting connections, yet a semi-rural location, I believe this makes our region a northern hotspot,” he says.
Looking ahead, Diggins said the objective is to establish Fine & Country Stockport and Saddleworth as a leading name in the upper end of the market.
“Our goal is to raise our company profile by clear marketing strategies and our client-first approach and for Fine & Country Stockport and Saddleworth to become a market leader within the upper quartile of the market within our region.”
FANTASTIC FIT

Nicky Stevenson, Managing Director of Fine & Country, says: “We are delighted to welcome James to the Fine & Country network.
“His experience, passion for the industry and commitment to putting clients first make him a fantastic fit for the brand.
“Combined with his local knowledge and ambitious plans for the business, we are excited to support the growth of Fine & Country Stockport and Saddleworth and see the brand develop across the region.”
