A week-long campaign will seek to challenge perceptions of Build to Rent and show tenants what professionally managed rental homes offer beyond the property itself.
Love to Rent Week will run from 28 September to 4 October, bringing together resident experiences, practical guidance and information about professionally managed rental communities across the UK.
The campaign will address what Love to Rent describes as common misconceptions about Build to Rent, including that it is predominantly a London product, aimed only at young professionals or unsuitable for renters with pets.
It will also examine how renters assess homes as AI and conversational search increasingly influence the way consumers find and research properties.
RENTING EXPERIENCE
Anne-Marie Brown, Founder and Managing Director of Love to Rent, says: “Renters deserve to understand the full experience a home can offer, not just the number of bedrooms or the monthly rent.
“Love to Rent Week brings together resident experiences, useful guidance and local information so people can compare their choices with greater confidence.”
Content during the week will cover the process from initial enquiry and viewing through to moving in, maintenance and ongoing support.
It will also examine issues including costs, deposits, pet policies, amenities and the role of on-site teams in professionally managed developments.
BUILD TO RENT CAREERS
For the first time, the campaign will include a dedicated careers programme highlighting employment opportunities within Build to Rent.
It will showcase roles across resident experience, operations, facilities, maintenance, finance, marketing, events, technology and portfolio management.
Brown adds: “Changing perceptions of renting also means showing people what happens behind the scenes.
“These homes and communities depend on talented teams with a wide range of skills, and we want to show potential employees that there are opportunities in the sector they may not have considered.”
Love to Rent covers professionally managed homes across Build to Rent, Single-Family Housing, Co-Living and Later Living.
