60-year London agency Avrasons selects Alto in business overhaul

Long-established London property firm Avrasons has selected Alto as its new CRM platform as part of a wider operational transformation that includes launching a residential sales division and expanding into surveying services.

Founded in 1965 and based in Oval, Avrasons has spent more than six decades building its reputation across lettings, portfolio management and block management throughout south and central London.
The move reflects a growing trend among independent agencies modernising legacy systems as the sector faces increasing pressure around compliance, customer experience and operational efficiency.

Alongside the CRM upgrade, the family-run business has renovated its offices, launched a dedicated sales arm and introduced building surveying services as it looks to diversify and expand.

Director Stephanos Stephanides says the business wanted its technology to evolve alongside its wider ambitions.

He says: “We’ve been in this industry a long time and we’re proud of the relationships we’ve built with our landlord clients.

“But as we expand the business and introduce new services, we wanted to make sure our systems evolve with us and reflect how modern agencies operate.”

The agency had previously used VECO for a number of years but began reviewing alternatives during the next phase of its growth strategy.

REVIEW PROCESS

Operations Manager Richard Jennings says a recent Propertymark audit helped trigger the review process.

“We recently had a Propertymark audit that highlighted opportunities to streamline some of our processes,” he explained.

“At the same time we were launching a new sales office and renovating our workspace, so it felt like the right moment to modernise the software behind the business as well.”

Jennings said Avrasons evaluated several platforms, including Reapit and Dezrez, before choosing Alto.

“Reapit was a contender,” he says. “But when we looked at how the platform would fit our structure, particularly around property management and accounting, Alto offered more flexibility.”

The company says usability for staff was also a major consideration during the selection process.

Nick Shaw, Chief Revenue Officer at Alto, says: “Avrasons is a fantastic example of an established independent agency evolving for the next generation of the market.

“After more than 60 years in business, Stephanos and the team are modernising their operations while expanding into new areas like sales and surveying.”

The deal highlights the increasing focus across the agency sector on integrated CRM systems capable of supporting lettings, sales, compliance and property management within a single operational platform.
