The Guild of Property Professionals is taking its Regional Meetings tour to 16 locations across the UK this autumn.
Beginning in Exeter on 7 September, the programme will run until 19 November and bring senior leaders from member agencies together for peer-to-peer discussions.
Each event will use an informal round-table format, allowing independent agents to discuss local market conditions, business pressures and emerging opportunities.
The meetings will be hosted by Iain McKenzie (main picture), CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals, who will also provide updates on new partnerships, products, initiatives and member benefits.
CONVERSATIONS DELIVER VALUE
McKenzie says: “One of the greatest strengths of The Guild is the community we have built around our Members. Our Regional Meetings give us the chance to bring that community together face-to-face and, importantly, to create an environment where agents can talk openly with other agents.
“It is often those conversations between Members that deliver the greatest value. An agent may be dealing with a challenge that another Member has already encountered and found a way through. Equally, someone might have an idea or approach that could make a real difference to another business. Creating the opportunity for those conversations is incredibly powerful.”
AGENTS ENCOURAGED TO CONTRIBUTE
Rather than following a conventional conference format, attendees will be encouraged to ask questions, share experiences and discuss how they are responding to challenges within their businesses.
McKenzie adds: “Independent agents are dealing with a huge amount of change, from economic and legislative pressures to shifting consumer expectations and increasing competition. They don’t have to navigate all of that alone.
“Our role is not just to provide Members with products, partnerships and business support, but to bring together a network of like-minded professionals who can learn from and support one another.
“These meetings are an important part of that. We want Members to leave having had useful conversations, gained a different perspective and, ideally, made connections they can continue to draw on long after the meeting has finished.”
UK-WIDE SCHEDULE
Following Exeter, the tour will visit Cornwall, Cardiff, Bristol, Southampton and Oxford during September.
Meetings will take place in Belfast, Kent, Nottingham, Birmingham and Cambridgeshire during October, followed by a week of London events from 2 to 6 November.
The final dates will be held in Haydock, Yorkshire, Barnsley and Newcastle, where the programme concludes on 19 November.
