Street.co.uk has integrated the Government’s official Form 4A into its rent review workflow to help letting agents comply with the Renters’ Rights Act.
The update enables agents to generate, amend, sign and serve the mandatory rent increase notice without leaving the platform.
Property, tenancy, landlord and rent details are automatically taken from information already held within the CRM, reducing the need to re-enter data manually.
Completed notices are retained against the tenancy record, creating an audit trail and removing the need for separate document storage.
REMOVING MANUAL ADMINISTRATION
Under the Renters’ Rights Act, landlords and agents proposing to increase the rent on a periodic tenancy must use the prescribed Form 4A.
This has typically required agents to download the form, enter tenancy details, obtain a signature and serve the notice separately from their CRM.
Street.co.uk’s integration brings those steps together within its existing rent review workflow. Agents can electronically sign and email the notice to tenants or generate an unsigned version if they prefer to serve it through another method.
The functionality is available to existing customers at no additional charge.
