Midlands housebuilder Spitfire Homes has received more than 90 applications for a new community fund launched to mark its 15th anniversary.
The fund is open to charities, clubs and community groups located close to the housebuilder’s developments, with successful applicants receiving funding for local projects and activities.
Since launching on 1 July, the initiative has attracted an average of more than nine applications a week.
Applications will be considered quarterly by a panel of Spitfire employees, with the first funding decisions due to be made in October.

GROWTH PIPELINE
The fund follows a period of expansion for the family-owned housebuilder, which recently completed its 1,500th home and says it achieved year-on-year growth of 70% in 2025.
Spitfire also has a pipeline of 1,600 homes as it looks to expand its development activity across the Midlands and surrounding areas.
Founded in 2011, the company has delivered 62 communities and estimates its activities have supported around 5,000 jobs.
