Reapit steps up estate agency tech investment to more than £40m

Reapit is investing more than £40m in its estate agency technology over the next 12 months as it accelerates development of AI, automation and consumer-facing tools.

The property technology provider says the programme includes an additional £20m investment recently committed to its platform alongside its existing research and development spending.
The investment comes as Reapit has been named a 2026 WIRED Trailblazer by WIRED and HSBC UK, recognising businesses using innovation to drive growth.

Reapit was recognised for its development and adoption of AI and automation within the estate agency sector.

AI AND AUTOMATION

Mark Armstrong (main picture, inset), Chief Executive Officer of Reapit, says: “Being named a 2026 WIRED Trailblazer is fantastic recognition of the innovation Reapit has delivered for estate agencies for almost 30 years.

“This acknowledgement reflects the AI and automation we’ve pioneered across the industry, as well as the expertise and dedication of our teams. It’s also an endorsement of our vision for the future of the industry.”

The company says its additional investment will accelerate development across its core platform, consumer technology and AI.

AGENT RELATIONSHIPS

But Reapit says the future of estate agency will not be determined by technology alone.

Steve Richmond, General Manager of Reapit UK, says: “We have been clear that the future of estate agency will not be defined by AI and automation alone.

“It will be shaped by how effectively agencies combine personal relationships, consumer engagement and intelligence to create customer relationships that last a lifetime.

“Our recently announced additional £20 million investment into our platform will accelerate our technological innovation to deliver this vision for our customers.”

The WIRED Trailblazers programme, now in its fifth year and run in partnership with HSBC UK, recognises UK businesses based on innovation, commercial momentum and real-world impact.

Reapit will also feature on WIRED.com as part of the 2026 programme.
