Movera launches mental health ambassador network

Conveyancing and property services group Movera has launched a Mental Health Ambassador programme as part of a wider strategy aimed at strengthening colleague wellbeing and promoting a more open workplace culture.

The initiative brings together 25 volunteer Mental Health Ambassadors from across the business, including colleagues working in hybrid and remote roles, all of whom have completed accredited Mental Health First Aider training through MHFA England.
The ambassadors will act as visible and approachable points of contact for employees seeking support, guidance or informal conversations around mental health and wellbeing.

Movera said ambassadors will be identifiable through dedicated signage, branded materials and Teams availability statuses, helping colleagues easily recognise when support is available.

WELLBEING INITIATIVES

The programme forms part of the company’s broader long-term wellbeing strategy and is expected to expand over the coming year, with ambassadors helping to lead future wellbeing initiatives across the group’s various brands.

Mark Tosetti (main picture), Director of Partnerships and Mental Health Executive Sponsor at Movera, says: “Mental health affects all of us, whether at home, in the workplace or in our day-to-day lives, which is why creating a culture of openness, support and understanding is so important.

“As an exec sponsor of the ambassadors programme, I’m incredibly proud of the colleagues from across our brands who have volunteered and committed to making a genuine difference to the wellbeing of their fellow colleagues.”

KEY PRIORITIES

Nichola Dixon, Head of Business Partnering – People and Culture at Movera, says the programme reflects a wider focus on employee wellbeing within the property and conveyancing sectors.

She said: “This initiative reflects Movera’s wider focus on creating a positive working environment across the conveyancing and property services sector, where employee wellbeing, engagement and culture remain key priorities.

“By establishing this dedicated network of trained ambassadors, we’re aiming to encourage more open conversations around mental health while ensuring colleagues have access to meaningful peer support across every part of the organisation, ensuring that as Movera grows, our focus on support and connection also gets stronger.”
