Major housebuilders back Zoopla in new homes push

Zoopla has secured new and renewed partnerships with three major housebuilders as it looks to build on growing momentum in the new homes sector following its acquisition of newhomesforsale.co.uk earlier this year.

Crest Nicholson, Cala Homes and Allison Homes have all signed agreements with the property portal, with Zoopla citing increasing demand for high-quality buyer leads and stronger conversion rates.
Top 10 housebuilder Crest Nicholson has returned to Zoopla after a four-year absence and will now list all of its developments on the platform. The builder will also utilise Zoopla’s Home of the Week product to generate additional buyer enquiries.

Allison Homes has also rejoined the portal. The regional housebuilder operates across the East of England, East Midlands and South West and said improvements to Zoopla’s new homes proposition had influenced its decision.

According to Zoopla, buyer leads generated for housebuilders have increased by 53% compared with 2025, helped by greater visibility for new-build homes and the introduction of features such as developer-specific search functionality.

Julia Brass, Group Marketing Director at Allison Homes Group, says: “Zoopla are genuinely focused on new-homes lead quality and conversion, and their improvements to new-build visibility for consumers back that up. I look forward to working with them to drive a strong return on investment.”

Meanwhile, Cala Homes has extended and expanded its relationship with Zoopla through to 2027.

Kim Pointon-Taylor, Director of Group Marketing at Cala, says: “The extension of our partnership with Zoopla reflects the strong results we’ve seen from the platform in attracting the right buyers for our homes.

“In a competitive market, greater visibility and better matching of motivated home movers to Cala developments is a primary focus. Zoopla’s platform helps customers find the right home quickly and confidently.”

SELLING HOMES FASTER

The agreements follow Zoopla’s acquisition of newhomesforsale.co.uk in February, a move designed to strengthen its position within the new-build sector.

Alex Rose (main picture, inset), Commercial Director at Zoopla, says: “Welcoming Crest Nicholson and Allison Homes back to Zoopla, alongside a renewal with Cala Homes, is a strong endorsement of the results we’re delivering for housebuilders.

“By consistently improving lead quality and conversion, we’re helping builders sell homes faster, and we’re committed to going further as their marketing partner for growth.”

Zoopla says 62% of new homes listed on its platform sell within the first three months, underlining the growing importance of targeted digital marketing as housebuilders compete for buyers in a more selective market.
