Love to Rent Week will return for its sixth year this autumn after its 2025 campaign generated a 56% increase in website leads.
The annual campaign, which promotes professionally managed rental housing and the wider Build to Rent (BTR) sector, will run from 28 September to 4 October.
Created by Love to Rent, the campaign brings together operators and industry partners to promote the range of rental homes and services available and challenge traditional perceptions of renting.
Last year’s campaign also recorded a 236% increase in video views compared with the preceding week. Love to Rent says engagement increased by 879% on Facebook, 580% on TikTok and 390% on Instagram.
CAREERS COME INTO FOCUS
This year’s programme will include a new ‘Have a Career in BTR’ initiative highlighting the growing range of jobs available within professionally managed rental housing.
It will feature people working across different areas of the industry and aims to challenge perceptions that property careers are largely confined to development, construction and traditional estate agency.
Anne-Marie Brown, Founder of Love to Rent, says: “Love to Rent Week was created to give the professionally managed rental sector a stronger voice and to help people understand the choice and standards available to them.
“The growth we saw during last year’s campaign, particularly the 56% increase in leads, demonstrated that there is an appetite for information about professionally managed renting and the homes and services available.
“This year, we want to continue to build on this momentum while broadening the conversation to include the people behind the sector. Have a Career in BTR will give us an opportunity to showcase the range of roles involved in creating and operating rental communities and highlight the different routes into the industry.”
BTR SECTOR EVOLVES
The Association for Rental Living (ARL) is supporting the initiative, with Chief Executive Brendan Geraghty saying the expansion of BTR makes attracting people with different skills and backgrounds increasingly important.
Rebecca Mulkerrin, Head of Operations at Love to Rent, says the rental market itself has also changed considerably.
She says: “Renting is changing, but public understanding has not always kept pace. Today’s professionally managed rental sector includes apartments, family houses, co-living communities and later-living homes, serving people at many different stages of their lives.”
Quintain Living, Pension Insurance Corporation, Moda, Way of Life, Greenwich Peninsula and Related Argent are among the organisations already supporting the 2026 campaign.
