Lettie adds Loop integration for letting agent maintenance

AI property maintenance platform Lettie has launched a two-way integration with Loop aimed at reducing the amount of maintenance information letting agents have to enter manually.

The integration allows property, tenancy and contact information held within Loop to be synchronised with Lettie, while completed repair tickets are returned to the agency’s Loop system.
It means agents can use Lettie to handle the initial reporting of maintenance issues while continuing to manage properties through their existing CRM.

Loop becomes the latest property software platform to integrate with Lettie, joining Street, Arthur, agentOS and Apex27.

MAINTENANCE WORKFLOW

The integration is designed to address the duplication that can occur when a tenant reports a maintenance problem through one system before the information has to be transferred into an agency’s property management software.

Lettie can continue conversations with tenants outside normal office hours and provide relevant agency-approved contact numbers where appropriate.

The resulting maintenance information can then be passed back into Loop rather than being manually recreated by property managers.

Connor Hawkins, Chief Solutions Officer at Lettie, says: “Agents shouldn’t have to choose between introducing specialist technology and keeping the systems their teams already know and rely on every day.

“Maintenance also doesn’t stop when an agency closes for the evening. If a tenant reports an issue out of hours, Lettie can continue the conversation and, where appropriate, provide the relevant contact information without waiting for a member of the property management team to step in.”

CONNECTED TECHNOLOGY

Hawkins says the integration reflects a wider move away from agencies expecting a single technology provider to handle every part of their operation.

He adds: “The industry has moved a long way beyond expecting one piece of software to do absolutely everything.

“The more useful model is for agencies to have a strong core CRM alongside specialist technology that connects properly with it.”
