Landmark and GlueDog link up to tackle transaction delays

Landmark Information Group has partnered with PropTech integration platform GlueDog in a move designed to help estate agents streamline compliance processes and reduce delays in the homebuying journey.

The partnership will integrate LandmarkAgent’s compliance and property information services directly into estate agency CRM systems connected through GlueDog, allowing agents to complete key checks without leaving their existing workflow.
At launch, the integration will be available through Apex27 and Rex Software, enabling agents to order Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, Source of Funds verification, title registers and title plans directly from within their CRM systems.

The move comes at a time when property transactions continue to face lengthy delays. According to Landmark, the average time from instruction to completion now stands at 123 days, with fragmented information and duplicated administration remaining key causes of hold-ups.

CLEARER AUDIT TRAIL

By embedding compliance services within agency software, the firms believe they can reduce repetitive manual tasks, improve visibility across transactions and create a clearer audit trail for compliance purposes.

The agreement forms part of Landmark’s wider LandmarkConnect strategy, which aims to improve the flow of trusted property data between estate agents, conveyancers, lenders and other stakeholders involved in the transaction process.

Ben Robinson, Managing Director of Landmark Estate Agency Services, says: “Property transactions are still taking too long, with instruction-to-completion times now averaging 123 days.

“Too often, delays are caused by fragmented information, duplicated administration and unnecessary back-and-forth between different parties and systems.

“Our partnership with GlueDog marks an important milestone in the LandmarkConnect journey, helping estate agents access trusted information earlier and manage key compliance steps within the systems they already use every day.”

The latest partnership expands LandmarkAgent’s growing network of CRM integrations, which already includes Street and Greenhouse OS, as the industry continues its push towards greater automation and data sharing in an effort to reduce transaction times and improve the customer experience.
