The Guild of Property Professionals is expanding its network and supplier partnerships to help independent agents navigate rising costs and regulatory change.
The group, which represents a nationwide network of independent agencies, currently showcases more than 66,000 property listings, providing members with collective reach typically associated with larger corporate brands.
The model allows agents to retain local identity while benefiting from national exposure, negotiated supplier terms and shared operational support.
The Guild says its approach is designed to offset increasing cost pressures and complexity, particularly as compliance demands intensify across the lettings sector.
SUPPLIER NETWORK
Central to the proposition is an expanded supplier network, offering access to more than 50 vetted partners across areas including CRM systems, auctions, financial services and marketing.
The network has also strengthened support for members ahead of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025, providing guidance, training and tools to help agents adapt to new requirements.
Recent additions include HomeLet | Let Alliance, aimed at supporting tenant referencing, risk management and landlord protection as the regulatory landscape evolves.
The Guild said the combined offering enables agents to reduce costs, access additional revenue streams and streamline operations, while maintaining compliance standards.
COST PRESSURES
Iain McKenzie (main picture), Chief Executive Officer at The Guild of Property Professionals, says: “Independent agents are facing increasing cost pressures, regulatory complexity and technological change.
“By combining the scale of a national network with the flexibility of independent ownership, we are able to secure preferential deals and provide tools that genuinely help our Members grow and remain compliant.”
He adds that continued investment in partnerships and services will be key to helping independent agents compete in an increasingly challenging market.
