Former LMS Chief Executive Officer Nick Chadbourne has joined Novus Strategy as Non-Executive Chair.
Chadbourne will help shape the strategic direction of the mortgage and homebuying transformation consultancy as it expands its work with lenders.
He led conveyancing services provider LMS from 2017 before announcing his departure in June.
His appointment comes as Novus develops its consultancy proposition around Pathfinder, a mortgage journey simulator launched last month.
THREE DECADES OF EXPERIENCE
Chadbourne brings almost 30 years’ experience across mortgage lending, conveyancing and insurance.
He began his career at HBOS, where he became Director of Private Banking, and also worked at Birmingham Midshires.
He later held managing director roles at Freedom Finance and insurance intermediary Amity Financial Solutions.
Chadbourne was also a founding board member of the Open Property Data Association and becomes Chair of the Conveyancing Association on the same day as taking up his Novus role.
PATHFINDER GROWTH
Novus says Pathfinder helps lenders identify problems and opportunities across the mortgage journey before committing investment.
The platform can be used to model proposed changes, establish priorities and explore the use of smart data and upfront property information.
