eXp marketing chief wins AI innovation honour

eXp Realty’s Sarah Hutchinson has been named among Ragan’s Top Women in Marketing Class of 2026 after using artificial intelligence to rebuild the agency’s international marketing infrastructure.

Hutchinson (main picture, inset), Vice President of International Marketing at eXp Realty, is recognised in the AI and Innovation Leaders category alongside senior marketing executives from Microsoft Advertising, Schneider Electric and PCL Construction.
She oversees brand strategy, communications, digital infrastructure and events for eXp Realty International across 26 countries and six continents.

The recognition follows Hutchinson’s delivery of 25 country-specific websites within a single quarter after an external supplier failed to complete the project ahead of a critical deadline.

AI REPLACES OUTSIDE AGENCY SUPPORT

Hutchinson taught herself to “vibe-code” using AI-assisted development tools and built the first website in six hours.

According to eXp, the new infrastructure would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to establish and potentially millions in ongoing agency fees. The brokerage now owns the technology outright.

She has also replaced several external agency retainers with AI tools and uses Anthropic’s Claude platform to automate elements of her daily operations.

The achievement comes despite eXp International operating with a marketing team considerably smaller than those typically employed by global businesses of a comparable scale.

INTERNATIONAL EVENTS DELIVER GROWTH

Hutchinson has also produced two consecutive eXpcon International conferences. The latest event, eXpcon Paris, welcomed attendees from 25 countries and recorded a 21% annual increase in paid attendance.

Felix Bravo, Managing Director of eXp Realty International, says: “At eXp International, we do not use AI as a shortcut. We use it to build things that did not exist before, platforms, tools and infrastructure we own outright, tailored exactly to what our agents need.

“Sarah is the clearest example of that mindset on our team. She does not wait for a solution to appear. She builds it. That is the culture we are proud of, and she is a big part of why it exists.”

PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY EXPANDS

The recognition coincides with eXp International’s continued investment in proprietary technology.

This includes LYVVE, its global property-search platform operating across 28 countries, and Nexus, an all-in-one platform for agents which is currently in beta testing.

Ragan’s award winners will be celebrated at the Yale Club in New York City on 22 October.
