Campions has expanded its presence across South East London with the acquisition of independent estate agencies Drewery and CKB Estates.
The deals mark the latest stage of the group’s growth strategy and follow its recent acquisition of Battersea & Nine Elms Estates, further increasing its reach across the capital and neighbouring Kent markets.
Drewery, based in Sidcup, brings more than 80 years of history to the group and has established a strong reputation in the local sales and lettings market. CKB Estates operates from offices in Sydenham and Eltham and is well known across South East London for its local market expertise and customer service.
Both businesses will continue to trade under their existing brands, with Campions adopting its established approach of retaining local identities while providing additional operational support and resources.
TARGETED ACQUISITIONS
The acquisitions further strengthen Campions’ presence in a number of active residential markets and continue a period of expansion for the group, which has been growing through targeted acquisitions of established independent agencies.
Campions says the acquisitions reflect its focus on partnering with well-established agencies that have strong local reputations and deep community connections, while benefiting from the scale and infrastructure of a larger organisation.
The latest deals continue a trend of consolidation within the agency sector as larger groups seek growth through acquisition while preserving local brands and market expertise.
SCALE AND SUPPORT
Richard Davies (main picture, inset), Director of UK Operations at Campions, says: “Our newly acquired agencies share the qualities we value most: strong local roots, trusted reputations and a genuine commitment to service. Their hardworking teams bring deep community insight, and we’re delighted to welcome them into the wider group.
“Following our recent acquisition of Battersea & Nine Elms Estates, the additions of Drewery and CKB Estates represent another important step in our growth strategy. Together, these businesses strengthen our presence across South London, extend our reach towards Kent and create significant opportunities for future growth.
“Becoming part of the Campions Group provides incoming agencies with the scale and support to continue thriving in the markets they know best, while strengthening our ambition to build a high-quality, community-driven property group across London and the South East.”
