Butler Sherborn strengthens presence with trio of senior hires

Butler Sherborn has expanded its regional team with three senior appointments as it looks to build momentum in the spring market.

The Cotswolds-focused agency has recruited Ben Rymer (main picture, right), Henry Coram-James (main picture, middle) and Russell Taylor (main picture, left) across its Cirencester, Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold offices, bolstering experience across both sales and advisory.
Rymer joins the Cirencester office with more than 30 years’ experience, having previously run his own residential sales business in Wandsworth. His career has largely been focused on South West London before relocating to the Cotswolds four years ago.

Coram-James has taken up a role in Burford, returning to the region where he grew up. With over 15 years’ experience spanning West London and the South West, he has worked across a range of agencies and launched his own buying agency in 2021, advising clients across London and the Cotswolds.

BIG DEMAND

Taylor joins the Stow-on-the-Wold office, bringing local market knowledge of the North Cotswolds, having previously worked for two agencies in the area. Before entering estate agency, he worked in professional football, a background he says has helped shape his negotiation and client management skills.

The hires reflect continued demand in the Cotswolds market, where agencies are investing in experienced staff to support both domestic and increasingly lifestyle-driven buyers.

Sam Butler, Senior Partner at Butler Sherborn, says: “We are thrilled to welcome three new team members into the fold at Butler Sherborn. We take pride in offering a highly rewarding environment that is much like a family.

“Ben, Henry and Russell bring a wealth of experience to the business, allowing us to continue to deliver an outstanding service as the Cotswolds’ Leading Property Specialists.”

The expansion comes as competition intensifies across prime regional markets, with firms strengthening teams to capture demand from buyers relocating from London and further afield, particularly in lifestyle-driven locations such as the Cotswolds.
