Alto has launched a new AI-powered analytics tool designed to give estate and letting agents instant insight into the performance of their businesses without the need to build reports or manually interrogate data.
The new platform, Alto IQ, has been integrated directly into Alto’s CRM system and allows agents to ask conversational questions about their business performance, receiving immediate answers alongside plain English explanations and supporting data.
The launch reflects the growing role of AI within estate agency operations, with suppliers increasingly focusing on tools designed to improve productivity, identify risks and support faster decision-making.
Alto says the system is intended to help agencies bridge the gap between the large volumes of operational data they already hold and the ability to extract meaningful, actionable insight from it quickly enough to influence day-to-day business decisions.
IDENTIFY ANOMOLIES
The platform works across sales, lettings, applicant and property management data held within an agency’s Alto account.
Examples of queries include identifying which negotiators have the highest fall-through rates, highlighting landlords where rent arrears are beginning to build, or analysing which lead sources are delivering the highest levels of completed commission.
According to Alto, the platform can also proactively identify anomalies and patterns within agency performance before users actively search for them.
The company says Alto IQ has been built using more than 20 years of estate agency workflow data, enabling it to understand operational trends and questions specific to UK agency businesses.
NO EXTRA COST
Alto added that every recommendation generated by the system is supported by attributable underlying data.
The platform is available immediately to Alto customers at no additional cost.
Riccardo Iannucci-Dawson (main picture, inset), CEO of Alto, says: “Agencies are under pressure to do more with less, and the ones pulling ahead are the ones rethinking where their team’s time actually goes.
“Alto IQ is the answer to the question almost every agent asks: where do I focus today? We’ve built an analyst that sits inside Alto, works on your data, and gives you that answer in seconds.”
The launch follows a rapid increase in AI adoption across the property sector, with estate agencies increasingly deploying AI-driven tools across lead generation, marketing, customer communication and operational management.
Unlike many AI products focused primarily on automating outward-facing communication, Alto IQ is positioned as an internal operational intelligence tool designed to support agency management and business decision-making.
TIME SAVER

Sam Whitehead, Operations Director at The Accommodation Bureau, which piloted the product, says “Alto IQ feels like having a business analyst on the team.
“For a business like ours, that used to be out of reach. Now, we’re making decisions with confidence we didn’t have before. In our first proper session, it saved us more than two hours. But the bigger thing is what we’re doing with the insight it gives us.”
Alto says the system removes the need for agencies to manually build and interpret reports, allowing branch managers, lettings teams and agency owners to interrogate live business data through simple conversational prompts instead.
Iannucci-Dawson adds: “The barrier has never been whether agencies have useful data. It’s always been getting to it quickly enough to act on it. Alto IQ removes that barrier entirely. You ask a question, you get an answer, and you know what to do next. That’s the whole point.”
