Strutt & Parker has expanded its London broker team with the appointment of Hamish Gilfeather as Senior Associate Director as the firm continues to invest in its recently launched broker-led agency model.
Gilfeather (main picture) joins after more than 20 years with John D Wood & Co, where he built a strong reputation across the Primrose Hill and Belsize Park markets.
He will join Strutt & Parker’s North West London broker team, supporting the firm’s ambitions to grow its presence across some of the capital’s most competitive prime residential locations.
The appointment follows the launch of Strutt & Parker’s London broker team in February and is the latest in a series of senior hires as the business expands its hybrid agency offering.
KEY DIFFERENTIATORS
Working alongside brokers Zach Madison, James Diaper and Sarah James, Gilfeather will focus on clients across Primrose Hill and Belsize Park while also supporting wider coverage across Hampstead, Highgate, St John’s Wood, Queen’s Park and Regent’s Park.
His arrival is expected to strengthen Strutt & Parker’s position in North West London, where local market knowledge and long-established client relationships remain key differentiators in the prime property sector.

Claire Reynolds, UK Head of Sales at Strutt & Parker, says: “Hamish is a brilliant addition to our broker team as we continue to expand our market share in prime target markets.
“His track record speaks for itself, with an impressive knowledge of micro-markets in Primrose Hill and Belsize Park, and an understanding of the nuances of this part of London. His love of the local area, extensive contact book, and client-first approach is a brilliant fit for our business as we continue our strategic growth plans.”
PIVOTAL POINT
Gilfeather adds: “Joining Strutt & Parker at this pivotal point in its growth journey is a brilliant opportunity not only for me, but for my many repeat clients who I am fortunate to have worked with for decades.
“I’m looking forward to bringing a client-focused, results-driven approach to new and existing clients in Primrose Hill and Belsize Park, and leveraging the highly regarded collegiate culture of Strutt & Parker as I service my clients in achieving their property requirements.”
The appointment follows several recent London hires by Strutt & Parker, including Alex Robinson in its broker team and Michael Harte and Reem Dougramaji as Senior Associate Directors in the firm’s Knightsbridge and Belgravia office.
As competition for experienced agents intensifies across the prime London market, firms are increasingly targeting established operators with deep local knowledge and long-standing client relationships to support growth and market share ambitions.
