Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Group Clients has made two senior promotions as it ramps up recruitment to meet growing demand from housebuilders for assisted move and part exchange services.
The business has promoted Lindsay Storey (main picture, inset right) to business development director, where she will lead relationships with major developers while coordinating with internal estate agency teams to manage instructions and drive completions.
Lucy Jennings (main picture, inset left) has also been promoted to operations manager, taking responsibility for overseeing the frontline team and wider office function, with a focus on performance, service delivery and partner relationships.
The moves come as demand for fully managed part exchange and assisted move propositions continues to rise, with developers increasingly turning to outsourced solutions to reduce friction in the sales process and accelerate transactions.
STREAMLINED SALES
Spicerhaart said its national footprint of more than 200 branches and dedicated account management structure is helping developers streamline sales and improve conversion rates on new-build stock.
Alongside the promotions, the firm has confirmed plans to expand its Sheffield-based team, recruiting across a number of roles including admin support, sales consultants and an assistant operations manager.
Storey brings more than 20 years’ experience with the business to her new role, having started her career with Haybrook prior to its acquisition by Spicerhaart. She progressed through a series of roles including new homes sales co-ordinator and divisional sales manager before moving into the part exchange division.
Jennings’ promotion marks her fourth in seven years, having joined as a sales consultant before progressing through senior sales and management roles into operations.
SMOOTHER TRANSACTIONS

Neil Knight, divisional director of Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Group Clients, says: “This is a really exciting time for the business as we continue to see significant demand from developers for a fully managed part exchange and assisted move proposition.
“Developers are realising that by offering such a service to clients, they can reduce friction and achieve a faster path to completion. As we continue to facilitate smoother transactions for developers and their customers, the time is right to expand our team.
“As part of that, it is only right that we recognise the tremendous contributions of those who have helped us achieve our success.
“Both Lindsay and Lucy play critical roles in our team, ensuring that we don’t just attract and retain key partnerships with developers, but that we back this up with expert insight, support and exceptional results.
“With their help and leadership, the business is growing from strength to strength and I look forward to working closely with them and the wider team to provide our developer partners with a comprehensive range of added-value services.”
