SearchFlow has become the first search intermediary to connect successfully to Next Gen NLIS and complete end-to-end testing ahead of the platform’s planned launch in March 2027.
Land Data says the milestone demonstrates the readiness of the new National Land Information Service platform as further search intermediaries and data providers prepare to join.
SearchFlow, part of Landmark Information Group, is a longstanding channel of the existing NLIS Hub, which connects conveyancers and property professionals with official property-search information from local authorities.
The next-generation service is intended to provide a modern digital infrastructure through which verified organisations can access and share trusted land and property data securely.
DATA PROVENANCE RETAINED
Next Gen NLIS is built on the Land Data Trust Framework and uses common standards to support interoperability between local authorities, search intermediaries and property professionals.
The platform is designed to maintain the provenance and integrity of information from its original public-sector source as it moves between organisations involved in a property transaction.
Its development is being funded by the Government’s Regulatory Innovation Office and supports the aims of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s home-buying and selling reform roadmap.
The roadmap identifies trusted data, secure digital sharing and interoperable systems as important components of a quicker and more reliable transaction process.

Land Data will continue working with intermediaries and data providers as they complete onboarding and testing ahead of the platform’s phased adoption.
