Propertymark Trust opens qualification bursaries

The Propertymark Trust is inviting applications for its Class of 26 initiative, offering financial support to people seeking professional qualifications in the property industry.

A limited number of scholarship bursaries are available to cover up to 100% of the cost of learning materials for a Propertymark Level 3 qualification.
Support may also be provided towards Propertymark membership and examination fees, helping applicants who would otherwise struggle to meet the financial cost of becoming qualified.

Applications must be submitted by 30 August 2026, with successful candidates selected following interviews during September.

SALES, LETTINGS AND MANAGEMENT

Applicants can seek support to study for a Level 3 qualification in residential sales, lettings or property management.

The application process requires candidates to explain why they want to obtain the qualification and how it could support their future career.

The latest bursaries continue the Propertymark Trust’s “Class of” programme, which has already helped recipients begin their journey towards achieving recognised industry credentials.

The initiative comes as professional qualifications are moving higher up the property industry’s agenda.

The government is expected to publish a non-statutory Code of Practice for property professionals later this year and has committed to consulting in 2027 on mandatory qualifications for estate and letting agents in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

ROUTE INTO PROPERTY CAREERS

Michael Day (main picture, inset), Chair of the Education Group at the Propertymark Trust, says: “We are delighted to be able to continue this fantastic initiative that will provide a number of individuals with a route into qualifications that, in turn, will help underpin their future careers.”

Supporting education is one of the Trust’s central objectives, with grants intended to remove financial barriers that might prevent people from gaining qualifications and progressing within the sector.

Further information and the application form are available from the Propertymark Trust website.
