The Sheffield West branch of Nicholas Humphreys has been acquired by property professional Mark Linley following the retirement of long-standing owners Nicholas and Sue Lambrou.
The business will continue to operate from its existing office in Sheffield, with all staff retained to ensure continuity for landlords, tenants and vendors.
Linley takes over the franchise after working alongside the outgoing owners over the past year, bringing experience across property development, lettings and senior management.
The office will also continue to benefit from the wider network of The Property Franchise Group, alongside existing industry accreditations.
CONTINUITY AND STANDARDS
Linley says: “I’m delighted to be taking on the Sheffield West office and building on the excellent reputation Nicholas and Sue have established over many years. Having worked closely with them, I’ve gained a deep understanding of both the business and the needs of our clients.
“Our priority is continuity, maintaining the same high standards of service, with the same team and from the same office. At the same time, I’m committed to strengthening the business further, particularly as the sector prepares for significant legislative changes.”
And he adds: “As a landlord myself, I understand the responsibilities and risks our clients face, particularly with the upcoming changes to legislation in 2026. My focus is on providing knowledgeable, reliable support to help clients navigate this evolving landscape.”
CLIENT-FOCUSED
Ellie Hall, Group Managing Director at Nicholas Humphreys, says: “We’re delighted to welcome Mark as the new Franchise Owner of our Sheffield West office.
“His commitment to professional development, combined with his practical property experience and client-focused approach, makes him an excellent fit for the Nicholas Humphreys network.
“We would also like to thank Nicholas and Sue for their years of dedication and the strong foundations they have built.
“We’re pleased they will continue to support the business during this transition, ensuring it remains in very capable hands.”
