Guild launches video series to help agents grow

The Guild of Property Professionals has launched a new six-part video miniseries, Inside the Network, to help property professionals build stronger businesses.

Featuring chief executive Iain McKenzie, the series will provide an in-depth look at a range of key topics affecting today’s estate agency sector, including brand building, creating opportunities rather than simply chasing leads, winning instructions through effective pitching, and developing successful marketing strategies.
The episodes draw on the knowledge and experiences shared across the Guild community, alongside McKenzie’s 38 years in the property industry.

Bringing together his perspective as chief executive of The Guild with his first-hand experience as an estate agent and former Guild member, the series offers a unique insight into the challenges, opportunities and best practice shaping the sector.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Having founded his own independent estate agency during his career, McKenzie has direct experience of running an agency, sitting in front of clients, winning instructions, overcoming objections and competing in a challenging marketplace.

He says: “I have always believed that one of the biggest strengths of The Guild is the collective knowledge and experience within the network,” comments McKenzie.

“The Inside the Network series is about sharing that expertise and giving Members access to ideas, strategies and experiences that can help them strengthen and grow their businesses.

“Having been an agent and a Guild member myself, I understand the realities of being on the front line, from winning instructions and standing out against competitors to building trust with clients. That experience shapes the way I approach supporting our members today.”

BEHIND THE SCENES

The launch of Inside the Network marks the beginning of an ongoing content series, with plans for future seasons featuring Guild Members, Guild Account Members and head office teams.

These episodes will continue to highlight success stories, share practical advice and showcase the depth of expertise across The Guild community.

McKenzie adds: “The property industry is built on people, relationships and knowledge. “The purpose of this series is to bring that knowledge together and ensure Members can learn from each other, wherever they are in the country.”
