Goodlord and The Depositary integrate for ‘end-to-end’ tenancy process

Lettings tech platform Goodlord has announced a new integration with end-of-tenancy platform The Depositary.

The integration with Goodlord now allows agents to seamlessly initiate and manage their end-of-tenanc processes from within the Goodlord platform.
It means the Goodlord journey now extends from tenancy management all the way through to move-out support.

Agents who use Goodlord can now send tenancy data directly to The Depositary, removing the need for manual or duplicate data entry across multiple systems. Key information about the tenancy, property, deposit, agent and landlord will be sent automatically from Goodlord to The Depositary, where a tenancy record is created without further input from the agent.

ADDRESSING ADMIN PRESSURES

The launch follows Goodlord’s announcement of its partnership with Reapit last month.

The move comes as admin pressures continue to weigh heavily on agents. According to Goodlord’s latest research, 76% of agents find the amount of admin involved in their day-to-day work limiting, with the admin and compliance burden accounting for a fifth (20%) of operational bottlenecks.

By consolidating workflows, the integration aims to help agents reduce administrative overheads, improve operational efficiency and deliver a seamless experience for both landlords and tenants.

Tom Goodman, managing director at Goodlord, says: “End-of-tenancy is one of the most operationally complex and time intensive stages of the rental journey – and one that’s traditionally been fragmented across multiple systems. This integration with The Depositary removes that friction.

“By connecting move-out workflows directly with Goodlord, agents can eliminate duplicate admin, reduce errors and manage the entire tenancy lifecycle in one place. It’s a natural evolution of our platform – and another step towards giving agents the tools they

need to operate efficiently, without being limited by admin and technology bottlenecks.”

Kristjan Byfield, co-founder at The Depositary, adds: “I have long been a fan of Goodlord, in fact, there have been many pitches where I have introduced The Depositary as ‘Goodlord but for the end of tenancy process’ – so it is only logical to see our two companies integrate.

“The UK’s largest tenancy facilitation platform is partnering with the UK’s only tenancy conclusion platform to help agents massively reduce their administrative burden whilst giving tenants and landlords alike a first-class, digital experience. Together we’re making everything easier, faster and better for everyone.”
