Fine & Country launches West Wales property roadshow

Fine & Country West Wales is launching a regional property roadshow aimed at buyers, sellers and homeowners whose moving plans have stalled.

The first West Wales Property Exhibition will take place at The Bandstand in Aberystwyth on Friday 21 August in partnership with Homes of Wales.
The event will serve as the pilot for a wider series of pop-up exhibitions planned across West Wales under the campaign theme ‘The Great Unlocking’.

Properties from Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire will be showcased, while homeowners will have an opportunity to discuss downsizing, relocation, family transitions and passing property to the next generation.

TARGETING STALLED SALES

A central objective is to reach vendors whose homes have failed to sell with a previous estate agent.

Fine & Country West Wales says more than half of its instructions are secured after one or more other agents have been unable to achieve a sale.

Nigel Salmon (main picture), Managing Director of Fine & Country West Wales, says: “West Wales has always had a story to tell when it comes to property, and this exhibition is about bringing that story to the people who live here.

“Whether someone is buying their first home, selling a family property, or thinking about what comes next, we want to be the team that helps unlock that transition with confidence.

“For us, ‘The Great Unlocking’ is also about the properties and vendors who have become stuck. We regularly speak to homeowners who have already been on the market, sometimes with more than one agent, without achieving a sale.

“These events give us an opportunity to start those conversations face-to-face and demonstrate a different approach.”

TAKING AGENCY INTO THE COMMUNITY

Visitors will be able to meet representatives from Fine & Country West Wales and Homes of Wales, alongside specialists providing information about property purchases, finance and refinancing.

The agency will use the Aberystwyth exhibition to assess demand for similar events elsewhere in the region.

Salmon adds: “The traditional estate agency branch remains important, but there is also value in taking the business directly into the communities we serve.

“We see these exhibitions as a way of creating a more personal point of contact, while showcasing the breadth of property we represent across West Wales. If the Aberystwyth event proves successful, it will be the first of a number of locations we take ‘The Great Unlocking’ to.”
