Dexters Teddington agreed nine property sales worth a combined £16.1m during what the agency describes as its annual “Golden Week”.
All nine homes sold for more than £1m, with the transactions involving a mixture of Edwardian and modern detached and semi-detached family houses.
The agency says the final week of March traditionally produces a surge in deals as families work backwards from school application deadlines.
Agreeing a purchase at that point gives buyers approximately six months to complete and establish themselves within their preferred school catchment area before secondary school applications close on 31 October.

Primary school applications close on 15 January, making the preceding spring another important period for families planning a move.
Dexters says buyers often begin considering school requirements during the summer holidays before preparing their existing homes for sale in late summer or early autumn.
Teddington’s appeal includes Collis Primary School and St Mary’s and St Peter’s Church of England Primary School, both rated Outstanding by Ofsted, alongside Teddington School, which is rated Good.
