Charity walk launched in memory of Sarah Edmundson

Women in Estate Agency (WiEA) and Agents Together have launched a charity walk in memory of Sarah Edmundson

The Thames Path Ultra Challenge will bring the estate agency community together this September to remember Sarah and support those affected by breast cancer.
The two organisations have created WiEA Together, a joint team taking part in the Thames Path Ultra Challenge on Saturday 12 September 2026. Estate and letting agents, suppliers and supporters from across the property sector are invited to walk 25km or 50km, raising funds for the UK’s leading breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Now.

Sarah Edmundson was the much-loved chief executive of Agents Together and a founding board member of WiEA. Known for her warmth, honesty and deep commitment to supporting others, Sarah left a lasting mark on both organisations and the wider property industry.

CHARITY PATH

The walk will see the team take on the Thames Path route, which starts at Putney Bridge and passes through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede and Windsor. Full support will be available throughout the challenge.

Vicky Bibiris, chair of Ambassadors at Agents Together, says: “Sarah believed in people. She believed in listening properly, supporting honestly and creating spaces where estate agents could feel less alone.

“Walking alongside Women in Estate Agency feels incredibly fitting because both communities share that same purpose.

“Anyone from across the property sector is welcome to join us. Whether you knew Sarah, have been affected by breast cancer, or simply want to spend a day doing something meaningful, we’d love you to walk with us.”

COMMUNITY IN ACTION

Danielle Nash, board member at Women in Estate Agency, adds: “WiEA has always been about community in action. Not just talking about support, but showing it.

“Sarah was part of WiEA from the start and helped shape the spirit of honesty, support and togetherness that still sits at the heart of our community.

“This walk is a chance for the industry to come together, honour Sarah’s memory, and raise money for a cause that affects so many women, families and communities.”

Rebecca Highfield, senior events manager at Breast Cancer Now, says: “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone taking part in the WiEA Together challenge.

“Every step walked and every pound raised will help Breast Cancer Now continue its vital work, supporting people affected by breast cancer today and funding life-saving research for the future.

“With your help, we can work towards our bold vision that by 2050 everyone with breast cancer will live and live well.”

Participants can choose from two distances:

25km route: £75 registration fee, with a minimum fundraising target of £250.

50km route: £119 registration fee, with a minimum fundraising target of £250.
