Carter Jonas wins RTPI London award for housing scheme

Carter Jonas has won an RTPI London Award for Planning Excellence for its work on a 176-home affordable housing development in Feltham.

New Road Triangle was named the winner of the Best Homes and Communities Scheme category at the 2026 regional awards.
The national property consultancy’s London planning team advised Lampton Development 360 LLP and Be Living (Lampton) LLP on the redevelopment of the previously vacant site in the London Borough of Hounslow.

The completed development provides 176 affordable homes alongside amenity space and improvements to the surrounding public realm.

PLANNING STRATEGY

Carter Jonas developed the planning strategy and led pre-application discussions with Hounslow Council.

Its team also engaged with the Greater London Authority before managing the planning application through to its determination.

Award judges described New Road Triangle as an impressive example of a fully delivered 100% affordable housing development at scale in London.

They also recognised the collaboration required to produce a viable scheme that met council policy while providing affordable homes for local authority tenants.
