BuildLoan launches World Cup predictor with £1,000 top prize

BuildLoan has launched a World Cup prediction competition for mortgage brokers offering cash prizes of up to £1,000 and a charity donation linked to the winning entry.

The specialist self-build and renovation finance distributor said the competition is free to enter and open exclusively to UK mortgage brokers ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
Participants are invited to predict the outcome of every match in the tournament and compete against fellow advisers via a national leaderboard.

The broker with the highest score at the end of the competition will receive £1,000, while second and third place will win £500 and £250 respectively.

CHARITY DONATION

In addition to the cash prize, BuildLoan will make a £1,000 donation to a charity chosen by the overall winner.

The competition is available to brokers registered with BuildLoan, although advisers can sign up online before submitting their predictions.

BuildLoan says the initiative has been designed to strengthen engagement with intermediary partners while adding an element of fun around one of the biggest sporting events of the year.

FANTASTIC PRIZES

Raymond Connor (main picture, inset), Chief Executive Officer at BuildLoan, says: “Our broker partners are at the heart of everything we do, and we wanted to create something that would bring a bit of extra excitement to this summer’s World Cup.

“The Predictor gives brokers the chance to test their football knowledge against their peers and compete for some fantastic prizes, all while supporting a charitable cause at the same time.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the leaderboard develop throughout the tournament, discovering who will be crowned our inaugural World Cup champion – and of course supporting Scotland!”

The competition forms part of BuildLoan’s ongoing broker engagement activity and comes as the distributor continues to expand its support for advisers operating in the self-build, renovation and specialist property finance markets.

Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Final standings and prize winners will be confirmed once the tournament concludes and all results have been verified.
