Bruton Knowles has appointed Jimmy James as an associate in its National Valuation Team, strengthening its loan security valuation capability across the Midlands.
James (main picture, inset) will support the national chartered surveying firm’s work throughout Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes and the wider region.
He brings more than 20 years’ experience advising on commercial, industrial and residential assets, including development sites.
His appointment comes as Bruton Knowles continues to invest in its national valuation operation amid sustained demand for specialist and technically robust advice.
LOAN SECURITY EXPERIENCE
James joins from Kirkby Diamond, where he delivered valuations for loan security purposes across a range of property sectors.
He previously worked as a commercial valuation surveyor at Aitchison Raffety, advising clients on wider property matters.
A qualified MRICS surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, James holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Land Management.
His new role will include providing valuation advice for high street lenders across commercial, industrial and residential property.

Before developing his surveying career, James rode under National Hunt racing rules as a conditional jockey. He is now an active member of Buckingham & Stowe Running Club.
