Prime buying agency Black Brick has expanded its team with three new appointments as demand grows across its buying, rental search and property management divisions.
The multi-award-winning firm has appointed Alex Oliver (main picture, left) as Associate Partner, Lorraine Germaix (main picture, middle) as Rental and Buying Consultant and Emma Soames (main picture, right) as Property Manager.
The hires come as Black Brick continues to expand its services for high-net-worth and international clients across Prime Central London, Surrey and the West Country.
Oliver rejoins the business after previously spending more than six years with the agency between 2017 and 2023. He will advise clients across Prime Central and outer London, specialising in acquisitions for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
TOP-BILLING
He began his property career at Foxtons in 2013 before moving to Marsh & Parsons in Notting Hill, where he became the firm’s top-billing negotiator in his first year. Following his initial stint at Black Brick, he joined Prime Purchase as a Director before returning to the firm.
Germaix joins specialising in rental search and property acquisition for international clients, particularly European buyers and renters relocating to London. Originally from Paris, she spent more than a decade working in technology businesses focused on commercial analytics and client strategy before moving into the prime property market.
Soames joins the property management team with experience managing high-value homes across Prime Central London, supporting landlords and overseas owners with asset management and client services.
INCREASING DEMAND

Camilla Dell, Managing Partner at Black Brick, says: “I am thrilled to welcome Alex, Lorraine and Emma to the Black Brick team. Alex worked at Black Brick for six years from 2017-2023 and we are so pleased to welcome him back.
“Lorraine and Emma each bring a wealth of expertise to the business in their respective roles. Both the rental search and property management departments have seen significant growth and demand in recent months, and these new appointments will assist with the increasing demand from our clientele who come to us as trusted advisors in the PCL market.”
Founded in 2007, Black Brick advises high-net-worth individuals, family offices and international investors, and says it has sourced almost £2bn worth of residential property on behalf of clients.
