Alto leads estate agency CRM market with 6,000 offices

Alto is the most widely used estate agency CRM among suppliers analysed by Kerfuffle, with its technology operating across 6,000 offices.

New analysis from the proptech marketplace puts Reapit second with 5,200 offices, followed by Street.co.uk with 2,700.
The figures form part of Kerfuffle’s CRM Guide 2026, which examines the reach and features of 18 of the principal CRM providers serving estate and letting agents.

Suppliers were asked to confirm the number of offices currently using their systems, providing a snapshot of the relative scale of some of the biggest technology platforms operating across the agency sector.

CRM MARKET

Figures confirmed directly by suppliers are marked as verified within the guide.

Where a provider has not confirmed its number, Kerfuffle uses the company’s most recently published office count and marks the figure as unverified.

The guide also compares the functionality suppliers say their platforms provide and how individual CRM systems connect with other technology used by agents.

Supplier submissions are published unedited unless Kerfuffle identifies an obvious inaccuracy, alongside feedback from agents using the platforms.

AGENT TECHNOLOGY

Simon Whale (main picture), founder of Kerfuffle, says: “A CRM system shapes how leads land, how instructions get won and how landlords get paid.

“The Kerfuffle CRM Guide 2026 does not rank, is not scored by ourselves and we’re not saying who’s best. It’s designed to provide clarity so agents can talk to the suppliers who sound like the best fit for them.”

Kerfuffle says the guide is intended as a market map rather than a ranking of CRM providers, helping agencies compare systems before approaching potential suppliers.

The company has also revealed that its PropTech That Pays supplier demonstration platform is now being used by more than 1,000 estate agents.
