Women in Estate Agency (WiEA) is bringing world-renowned rugby referee Sara Cox MBE back to the property industry for an exclusive leadership and resilience event designed to help women build confidence, make decisions under pressure and develop their leadership skills.
The event, Leadership Under Pressure, will take place on 2 July at Reapit’s London headquarters and is exclusively available to members of the WiEA Partnership Programme.
The session follows Sara Cox’s appearance at WiEA’s 2026 Not a Conference event, where her insights on confidence, authority and belonging resonated strongly with delegates.
Organisers say the latest event has been designed to move beyond inspiration and provide practical tools that women can apply in their everyday working lives, whether they are leading teams, managing client relationships or navigating high-pressure situations.
STAYING CLEAR, STAYING CALM
Cox, who became the world’s first professional female rugby referee, has built her career in one of sport’s most scrutinised environments, where decisions must be made instantly and publicly.
Sara Cox MBE said: “Pressure has a way of showing us how much we trust ourselves. In my world, you have to make decisions in real time, with a lot of noise around you and plenty of people ready to question the call.
“That’s where leadership really shows up. It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about staying clear, staying calm and backing yourself when it counts.
“What I love about WiEA is that this community creates space for women to grow, stretch themselves and realise they do belong in the room. I’m really looking forward to helping people explore that in a practical way.”
The event will focus on self-leadership, resilience, confidence, influence and decision-making, with attendees encouraged to develop skills that can be applied across all levels of the industry.
LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE

Verona Frankish, Chair of Women in Estate Agency, says: “So many women in this industry are already leading, even if they don’t always call it that. They are making decisions, supporting teams, influencing clients and holding things together every single day.
“This event is about helping them recognise that leadership in themselves and giving them the confidence and tools to use it more deliberately.
“Sara’s message landed so strongly at Not a Conference because it was honest, human and completely relevant to the pressures people are dealing with in estate agency. We wanted to create a smaller, more hands-on space where our partners could go deeper with that learning.”
Places are limited and available exclusively to WiEA Partnership Programme members at £99 plus VAT.
The Partnership Programme was launched to provide ongoing support, training and development for estate agency professionals and industry suppliers throughout the year, with a focus on improving equality, career progression and leadership opportunities across the sector.
Leadership Under Pressure takes place on Thursday 2 July at Reapit HQ in London.
Partnership members can email womeninestateagency@gmail.com to secure their place.
