Independent London estate agency The Stow Brothers is set to expand into North London this summer with the opening of a new office on Upper Street in Islington.
The family-owned agency has confirmed the new branch, located at 292 Upper Street, will officially open later this summer as part of its continued growth across the capital.
Already established across East London and West Essex, the move into Islington marks the next stage of expansion for the business, which has built its brand around a design-led approach to residential sales, lettings, property management and new homes.
The agency says the Islington launch is both a strategic move and a personal milestone for founders Kenny and Andrew Goad (main picture, left and right), whose family has historic ties to the area.
PREMIUM DESIGN
The branch itself has been designed to reflect both the agency’s branding and the character of Upper Street, with interiors being delivered by Rees Architects. According to the company, the office will feature a more premium design aesthetic, incorporating refined finishes and detailing intended to create a calm and welcoming environment.

The new office will be led by Russell Gooden, who joins the business as Sales Manager.
The Stow Brothers says Gooden brings extensive London market experience and strong local knowledge, with responsibility for establishing the agency’s presence across Islington and the surrounding areas.
The launch will also be supported by a creative marketing campaign developed by Studio.Build, centred around a specially commissioned poem. The campaign is expected to run across print, digital and outdoor advertising channels as the agency looks to establish itself within the local community ahead of the office opening.
The Islington team will begin operating locally before the official launch, initially focusing on residential sales, lettings and property management services.
CREATIVE COMMUNITY
Kenny Goad, founder of The Stow Brothers, says: “Islington is an area that has always felt like home to us – our great grandfather Alf actually had a jeweller’s on Upper Street. We know there is a real sense of character, creativity and community here, and it aligns closely with how we see property. Opening in Islington feels like a very special moment.”
Andrew Goad adds: “We are delighted to have Russell on board. He understands the local market, but more importantly he shares our approach to doing things thoughtfully, with care, honesty and attention to detail.”
Victoria Kearney, Creative and Marketing Director at The Stow Brothers, says: “From the outset, we wanted the launch to feel thoughtful and rooted in the area. The campaign reflects that, it’s not just about opening an office, it’s about becoming part of a neighbourhood.”
