Sussex agencies rebrand under Charters

Two established south coast estate agencies have rebranded under a single name, as Michael Jones and Brand Vaughan become part of Charters Estate Agents.

The move brings offices across Sussex, including Worthing, Brighton and Hove under the Charters brand, extending its footprint beyond its traditional Hampshire and Surrey base.
The rebrand reflects wider consolidation in the agency sector, as firms look to combine strong local presence with the scale, systems and reach of larger regional networks.

Backed by Lomond, the expanded operation will offer increased exposure to buyers and tenants, alongside access to a broader database and enhanced technology platforms.

REGULATORY CHANGE

The transition also comes ahead of major regulatory change, with the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 set to reshape lettings, prompting agencies to strengthen landlord support and compliance services.
