Franchise owners of Northwood Chelmsford have expanded their footprint in the Essex premium market with the acquisition of The Zoe Napier Group.
The deal sees Zaman and Amina Sheikh add one of the region’s most established high-end agencies to their growing portfolio, strengthening their presence across luxury, equestrian and waterside property sectors.
Founded more than four decades ago, The Zoe Napier Group has built a strong reputation as a niche specialist in lifestyle-led homes, with a focus on country and coastal properties across Essex.
The acquisition follows a period of rapid growth for the Sheikh-led business since taking over Northwood Chelmsford in 2023, including the purchase of WN Properties in 2025.
OPERATIONAL SYNERGIES
The deal also highlights ongoing consolidation at the top end of the regional agency market, as operators look to scale through established brands with strong local reputations and specialist expertise.
The latest move is expected to create operational synergies across Northwood Bespoke and their wider network, enhancing their position in the upper tiers of the local market.
Zoe Napier will remain involved in the business as a consultant, ensuring continuity and supporting the transition, while the existing team will also stay in place.
