Dils hires CBRE veteran to drive Spain commercial push

Dils has appointed Carlos García Redondo as Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Real Estate at Dils Spain, as it accelerates expansion in the Spanish market.

The move forms part of a wider strategy to scale its commercial platform, building on its existing residential footprint and growing investor demand across Spain.
García Redondo brings nearly 20 years of experience in real estate investment and advisory, joining from CBRE Spain where he served as National Director of Capital Markets and was a member of the Executive Committee.

Dils said the appointment will strengthen its ability to deliver integrated services to clients, as it looks to establish a more sophisticated commercial real estate offering in the country.

BIG GROWTH

The firm is targeting further growth in Spain, with plans to hire more than 50 professionals during 2026. This would take its total headcount in the country to more than 300, including its residential platform Dils Lucas Fox.

The expansion builds on momentum from the residential business, which recorded nearly 13% growth in transaction volume in 2025, supported by strong demand from international buyers.

Madrid remains a key focus market, driven by high-net-worth demand and continued inward investment, with overseas buyers accounting for more than half of transactions.

STRATEGIC FIT

Giuseppe Amitrano, Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer at Dils, says: “Spain is a strategic market for Dils, and we are committed to strengthening our presence with an increasingly comprehensive and specialised offering.

“The expansion of the Commercial business is a key pillar of our growth strategy and reflects our ambition to continue investing in talent and long-term development in the country.”

Carlos García Redondo, Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Real Estate at Dils Spain, adds: “It is a privilege to join Dils at a pivotal moment for the real estate sector in Spain.

“We have a clear opportunity to build a modern, agile and highly specialised commercial platform, capable of anticipating client and investor needs and becoming a benchmark in the market.”

Paloma Pérez Bravo, Chief Executive Officer, Residential at Dils Lucas Fox, says: “Spain continues to strengthen its position as a key destination for international capital, supported by strong demand, limited supply of prime assets and long-term value preservation.”
