Credas Technologies has partnered with Finity to embed digital identity and right-to-work checks into payroll workflows, automating verification for more than 150,000 UK workers each month.
The integration replaces manual document checks with digital verification, allowing workers to complete the process via the Credas app, with results fed directly into Finity’s platform in real time.
The move is designed to streamline onboarding and reduce compliance risk, with Finity estimating the system can save around five hours of administrative time for every 100 workers onboarded.
Previously, many payroll providers relied on manual checks, often requiring administrators to review documents, switch between systems and manage compliance records separately from core payroll functions.
INTEGRATED PLATFORM
By embedding Credas’ technology – certified under the UK Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework – into its platform, Finity is aiming to create a single, integrated workflow with full visibility of verification status and audit trails.
Varun Monteiro, CEO of Finity, says: “Partnering with Credas was a natural step for us. At Finity, we’re focused on removing friction from payroll, and identity verification is a critical part of that journey. Too often, right to work checks are manual, time-consuming, and disconnected from the core payroll process.
“By embedding Credas directly into Finity, we’ve transformed that experience into a seamless, automated workflow. Our clients can now save hours of admin, reduce risk, and manage compliance with confidence – all within a single platform.”
REMOVING FRICTION

Neil Williams, CTO at Credas, adds: “Finity’s commitment to delivering financial unity through connected systems aligns perfectly with our vision for digital identity verification.
“By embedding compliance checks directly into the platforms businesses already use, we’re removing friction from essential processes. This integration demonstrates how digital verification can deliver both operational efficiency and regulatory confidence – helping payroll providers focus on high-value activities rather than administrative burden.”
The partnership also enables Finity to offer verification at competitive rates, while providing employers with clearer audit trails and reducing the risk of data entry errors – a growing priority as compliance requirements tighten across the employment and payroll landscape.
